What are the hours for Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park?
The hours of operation are Tuesday- Thursdays 1:30pm-7pm, Fridays 1:30 to 8:30 pm, Saturday 10:00am -8:30 pm,Sunday 10am -6:30pm. Times are subject to change. on Weekdays we do occasionaly alternative water features on a 1/2 hour scheudle and close them down. We begin 7 day a week operation mid May. The water park closed a half hour before the facility closes.
What are the options for admission?
You may purchase a full-day admission pass. Sahara Sam's has specials listed from the home page when available
How long are the wrist bands valid?
The wrist band is valid for the entire day.
What age is considered an adult?
Any individual over 18 years of age is considered an adult.
Are children under a certain age free?
Children (2) and under FREE however Sahara Sam's reserves the right to ask for proof in the event there is a clear discrepancy and reserves the right to change policy.
Can Sahara Sam's be reserved for parties?
Yes! Our corporate and guest party centers support groups from 10 to 325 guests, making us one of the largest group parties facilities in the area.
Can Sahara Sam's hold a corporate function or party?
Yes! Choose any of our multiple meeting rooms, complete with all necessary audio/visual and projection equipment. We'll handle everything!
Is a traditional swimming pool available?
We do not have a traditional pool, but will be occasional be offering swimming lessons and aerobic sessions within our many pools depending on registrations.
Does Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park offer lockers?
Lockers are available fo purchase for storage; we offer a complete system to help make your stay less stressful. Our family changing locker room makes it easier for parents with younger children. All of our lockers are electronic and wristband controlled therefore no worries about lost keys. It is a water park policy that all items must be contained in a locker and not left on the tables in the park. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles that are not stored in a locker.
Are Showers available in the Facility?
Yes we have complimentary showers for your needs.
Are towels provided or do guests bring their own?
Guests are requested to bring their own towels, however, if you've forgotten yours, we offer many custom towel choices within our in-park retail store occasionaly we are sold out and do our best to keep a stock.
Is Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park open to the public?
Yes, we are not a private facility. Any person can enjoy our park.
Is there seating available in the water park?
Yes, there are tables and chairs available on a first come first serve basis. Seating is not guaranteed for all admission tickets purchased.
Is there any place to get food and beverage at Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park?
Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park features the family friendly Sam Dune's Cafe featuring Noble Roman's Pizza and Tuscano's Italian style Subs along with a variety of other snacks and drinks. We also offer the convenience of touch screen ordering. Outside Food and Beverage is prohibited in the building.
Can guests bring their own food and drinks into Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park?
Because Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park is concerned about your safety, glass containers, coolers, ice chests as well as food and beverages of any kind are not permitted inside the park. Bottles brought into the water park for an infant must be plastic.
What is the policy for bringing in food if you have a special dietary/medical need?No outside food or beverages are allowed into the water park or arcade with the following exceptions:
• Any food required for medical purposes or medically indicated nutritional supplements. Examples: small juice boxes for diabetics
• Special food products for those with food allergies, if we do not supply them.
• A doctor’s note will be required for medical issues and food allergies.
• Baby food/baby formula.
• All outside food must be in plastic containers.
Exceptions will not be made for food requirements based on ethnic or religious beliefs.
What happens if a wristband needs adjustment or is lost?
Guests with a wristband in need of an adjustment must have the Guest Services desk remove and replace the wristband. Lost wristbands will be replaced at a $2 charge.
What about water safety? Are there lifeguards?
We are concerned about the safety and security of all guests. Sahara Sam's maintains certified lifeguards within the park during all operating hours. Safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. Nevertheless, we urge parents to teach their children about water safety prior to visiting the water park. Please be sure non swimmers or weak swimmers wear life vests. Complimentary life vests are issued at the First Aid Office.
Are swimming goggles permitted?
Swimming goggles are permitted with the exception of on the slides and at the discretion of the lifeguards. Flotation devices of any kind are not permitted inside the water park.
Are there any health restrictions relative to the water park attractions?
It is recommended that persons with preexisting medical conditions and women who are pregnant not participate. Each individual is encouraged to evaluate his or her own ability to participate.
Is there an arcade or game room in the water park?
Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park features Sammy's Trading Post featuring over 60 state of the art electronic games and a ticket prize center.
Are children who wear regular diapers permitted in the water park?
Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper for health and safety reasons. Water specific diapers are available in the water park for a nominal fee. Please use the changing facilities located in the rest rooms to change diapers.
Can children be left unattended in the facility?
Children under 13 years of age are required to be accompanied by an adult for safety and supervision. Sahara Sam's Oasis is concerned for the welfare of all younger children.
Do you have Wi Fi service at the park? Yes we offer FREE Wi Fi in the water park and in the arcade.
BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQ'S
What is the breakdown of the Party?
Each party at Sahara Sam’s is a total of 3 Hours from start to finish. Your party is allotted 1.45 hours in the water park, followed by changing time of 15 minutes, 45 minutes for the party room, and no time limit for Sammy’s Trading Post game room which is the final feature of the party.
Is there a fee for adults attending the party but not participating?
Yes there is a fee of $11.95 for each extra Adult who enters the water park regardless if they are participating or not. We provide 10 complimentary adult admission tickets as part of the package. We ask that you inform parents of your that if they wish to enter the water park this entry fee must be paid in order to receive a wristband.
Why do my party parents need to pay a fee to watch their children if they are not participating?
Sahara Sam’s is an amusement facility and not a traditional birthday party venue with limited capacity for entry to paying guests and limited seating. We charge a fee because occasionally Sahara Sam’s is busy on certain peak periods. Sahara Sam’s hosts many customers and events of different sizes and without a fee would be limiting our abilities to serve paying customers. We do offer complimentary seating at Sammy’s Trading Post with access to our Sam Dunes Café.
How much of a deposit is required to reserve a party?
We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking your event, should you decide to change your mind we will gladly refund your entire deposit as long as it is not 10 days before your event. If the cancellation occurs within 10 days of your event we can only issue you a gift card.
What is the difference between the Mega Splash and the Super Splash party?
The difference between the two parties is the following: The Mega Splash offers a $10 game card verses a $5 game card in the Super Splash package. The Mega Splash also provides party favor bags for all of the guests filled with various items kids love to play with.
What is the policy on cakes and outside food and beverage?
We allow you to bring a cake for your event if an actual party package is booked through Sahara Sam’s not a group entry. We do not provide a cake for your event. Additional outside food and beverage items are not permitted, we do offer many menu options for you to select from at the Sam Dunes café to add to your package.
Are children 2 and under still free with the party?
Children 2 and under are free for the party however the child is not counted against the 10 included in the package and the parent of the child is still required to either A) pay $11.95 for entry or B) utilize one of the 10 complimentary adults allotted for the party pending the host of the party has one available.
What if I am late for my party?
If you or a guest arrives late for a party it will continue as scheduled. We will not start the party without the party child however we will need to shorten several party features depending on how late the event has started. If a guest arrives late they can proceed to Party Central and we will escort the child to meet the party inside.
After the birthday party is over can the party re-enter in the water park?
The birthday child can re-enter the water park with 4 guest’s for free and each additional guest may re-enter for a fee of $14.95 each. To take advantage of this you just have to check in at Party Central and they will issue you the re-entry bands.
What if you have a late party and the park closes right after your party ends, can the birthday child and 4 guests come before the party starts to use the free re-entry?
Yes, the birthday and 4 guest’s may come 2 hours before the scheduled party time and take advantage of the free re-entry, please check in at Party Central and they will issue you the bands.
Can I bring in my own decorations for my son/daughter’s party?
Yes, you can bring in your own decorations for your party and we will decorate it for you. We do not permit anything to be hung on walls or from the ceiling.
Is any Peanut Oil used in frying foods at Sahara Sam’s?
We do not use peanut oil in our fryers
A party child has severe allergies can they bring in their own food?
Under only the most extreme circumstances can we allow outside food to be permitted into Sahara Sam’s. Each request must be submitted to management who will evaluate each request.
If I do not purchase a party package but only admission tickets can I bring in my own cake?
Only parties booked with a Sahara Sam’s party package are permitted to bring in a cake.

Accessibility / Safety / Policies
- Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor waterpark is wheelchair accessible. Please see a waterpark admissions employee for assistance.
- Most activities are not recommended for pregnant women or guests with heart, back or neck trouble. Not recommended for guests of excessive height or weight. See specific ride entrance sign for maximum weight limits.
- No diving, running or smoking permitted.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Clothing with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on attractions.
- Swim diapers are required for diaper-dependent guests.
- Sandals, aqua socks and excessive jewelry must be removed before riding.
- Please use a safety strap for glasses.
- Appropriate swimwear must be worn in Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor. We reserve the right to deny admission to anyone we feel is not properly dressed.
- Life vests/life jackets are available to all guests and may be required for smaller guests at some attractions.
- Pets and flotation devices may not be brought into Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor.
- Outside food and beverages, including picnic baskets and coolers, are not permitted in the park. Glass bottles and containers are not permitted.
- Food and beverages purchased inside the property may be brought into the waterpark, except for glass items.
