Internship Opportunities:

  • Marketing Department

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park is looking for a part-time marketing intern to assist in marketing, promotions and events, which position Sahara Sam’s as a top attraction for family fun in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Marketing Intern will report to the Director of Marketing. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for press follow up, community outreach, direct mail/collateral coordination, event programming, and additional projects as assigned.

Requirements:

    • Junior, Senior or Graduate student from an accredited college, preferably a Marketing,
    • Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or Journalism major
    • Minimum of 15 hours per week for four months
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Good written and oral communications skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player

  • Graphic Design Department

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park is looking for a part-time graphic design intern to assist in marketing and event promotional collateral, which position Sahara Sam’s as a top attraction for family fun in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Graphic Design Intern will report to the Director of Marketing. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for creating posters, flyers, postcards, brochures, logos, and web ads; as well as additional projects as assigned.

Requirements:

    • Junior, Senior or Graduate student from an accredited college, preferably a Design, Marketing,
    • or Communications major
    • Minimum of 15 hours per week for four months
    • High-level of creativity
    • Skilled in QuarkXpress, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Flash
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player

  • Group Sales Department

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park is looking for a part-time sales intern to assist the group sales and facility rental staff, which position Sahara Sam’s as a top attraction for family fun in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Sales Intern will report to the Director of Sales. The Sales Intern will be responsible for lead generation; maintaining and servicing current clients; assist with special event coordination.

Requirements:

    • Junior, Senior or Graduate student from an accredited college, preferably a Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or Sales Major
    • Minimum of 15 hours per week for four months
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Good written and oral communications skills
    • Solid presentation skills
    • Strong attention to detail

  • Hospitality and Tourism Management Department

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor Water Park is looking for a part-time hospitality intern to assist in operations and customer service, which position Sahara Sam’s as a top attraction for family fun in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Hospitality intern will report to the General Manager. The Hospitality Intern will be responsible for assisting with duties in admissions, aquatics, human resources, café, arcade and more. Intern will also be responsible for customer service and other duties as assigned. This is a great opportunity to learn how a local and tourist destination functions.

Requirements:

    • Completed at least one year at an accredited college or training school with coursework in Tourism or Hospitality
    • Minimum of 15 hours per week for four months
    • Good written and oral communications skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player
